	Joe Forth first became interested in tattoos around the age of 19. In the beginning, he was fascinated with getting tattoos. That fascination turned into a desire to learn. Joe spent many hours practicing and studying the art of tattooing, and in 1995 he opened the doors to the Tattoo Clinic. Since then, Joe has become an award winning and recognizable tattoo artist. With thousands of tattoos under his belt, Joe still takes prides in every tattoo he does. Joe has earned a reputation as one of the best tattoo artists in the Northeast. He is as much a fan of the art as he is an artist. He's proud of the fact that he has a tattoo done by his favorite artist, Paul Booth.

	While the tools of the art of tattooing are quite similar to yesteryear, the images and designs people want change with the times. For years Joe has done all of his artwork and lettering by hand, but the popularity of the internet and personal computers have brought an added dimension to tattooing. Joe still does a lot of his work the old fashioned way, but for that one person who needs an image they can't find, the internet has become a great source for getting those images. Programs on your PC's also allow for custom lettering to be arced or twisted any way you like, with ease. Joe has become quite good at adapting and using technology to please customers.

Joe has won his share of awards, has had his work recognized in magazines, and even duplicated, but the praise and accolades aren't what he strives for. Joe loves what he does, and it is that simple. He takes great pride in the fact that all of his customers leave the Clinic excited about their tattoo. He enjoys hearing that people brag of the fact that their tat was done by "Forthy." His best advertisement is the customer that tells their friend to go see Joe at the Tattoo Clinic, because he is the best!
